Why this site?

RTT Archives is an independent, volunteer-run citizen project documenting the buildings of Belgium's Telegraph and Telephone Board (1930-1992): telephone exchanges, workshops, administrative buildings… Many have disappeared or been converted; their history deserves to be preserved.

The site gathers archive photographs, anecdotes and testimonies from former workers and local residents. Anyone can contribute: a photo, a memory, a correction — everything enriches our shared heritage. A question, or an archive to entrust to us? Write to us using the form below.
