Intercom system for connecting 2 analogue landlines and 6 handsets. The first-generation handsets consisted of a standard U82 plus an additional expansion unit for function keys. In 1987, the U87 VKS was designed, followed two years later by the U89 VKS. What is striking is that the handsets feature three line keys: L1, L2 and L3. To my knowledge, L3 has never been used, and there are five handset keys: I1 to I5. To reach the sixth handset, you must press the key corresponding to your own handset number. For example: Extension 1 = I1 to reach extension 6; Extension 2 = I2 to reach extension 6, and so on...
