Alcatel - 1000 ADSL Modem & splitter, 1ste generatie.

The mother of all ADSL modems—the Alcatel 1000 (Belgacom 1998/1999)—was initially available only to the “happy few” who lived close enough to a central office equipped with a DSLAM, preferably no more than 400 meters away; there were only a handful of technicians throughout Belgium who performed the installations. The first splitter was also manufactured by Alcatel.
